retaining a city is a project that I developed at university. It is a large
scale town planing design. The site we had to treat is the Rivendale park, quite
near downtown Toronto. The problem set by the invited professor B.Shim was
dealing about the role of the architect in the town planing process. Where does the
work of an townplaner end and where does the one of an architect begin. What is the
nature of the limits respectively the interaction between these professions? Whats the
influence of a building on the neighborhood, which is its impact on the landscape?

The project itself is explained in a booklet that is available here. It is like a
summary containing the most important drawings and explications to understand the
design.
